New LatAm Head for Eccho Rights

STOCKHOLM: Eccho Rights has hired Imagina's Barbora Susterova as its new head of Latin America, effective this month.

Susterova will continue to be based in Madrid. Prior to joining Eccho Rights, Susterova handled the Latin American market and other territories for Spain-based Imagina for the last eight years.

“In the past six months we have seen increased interest in our catalogue from Latin America and feel it is time to strengthen our presence in the region," said Fredrik af Malmborg, managing director of Eccho Rights. "Barbora’s experience [in] the international market for drama series and her extensive knowledge of the Latin American market will help Eccho Rights to build on this interest."

Susterova commented: “I'm very excited about working with Eccho Rights on the Latin American sales.
