Globo TV International Unveils 2012 Catalogue

MIAMI: Globo TV International presented its new catalogue of telenovelas, series and documentaries at a breakfast event at NATPE this morning.

“Our objective is to give our clients a taste of Brazil," said Raphael Corrêa Netto, the head of international sales. "Or rather, the optimism, high spirits, cheerfulness, affection, among the many other attributes that make up the Brazilian people, and of course, our productions."

Titles on offer include the telenovelas Irrational Heart, about the fierce rivalry between two brothers; The Illusionist, starring India: A Love Story‘s Rodrigo Lombardi; Destiny River, an International Emmy telenovela nominee; Looks and Essence, focused on a hardworking single mom who wins the lottery; and The Enchanted Tale, a fairytale-esque story about the romance between the son of outlaws and a princess. The series front includes the five-part The Invisible Woman, a romantic comedy; season three of Internal Affairs; and the comedy series Macho Man and Slaps & Kisses. In the way of documentaries, Globo is presenting Extreme Planet, After the End and The Color of Culture.
