FOX Sports Extends NFL Rights for LatAm Through 2019

BUENOS AIRES: FOX Sports has renewed its NFL broadcasting rights in Latin America for the next four seasons, including new content and expanded coverage in the region.

The new four-season agreement begins with the 2016 season. The pact covers more than 100 games, including Sunday afternoon regular season games, Thursday Night Football, all three Thanksgiving Day games, all NFC post-season games and the Super Bowl and the Pro Bowl. The agreement ensures NFL coverage across multiple FOX Sports platforms and devices.

“We are very excited that our new agreement allows FOX Sports to take our coverage to an even higher level and provide NFL fans with the most engaging and comprehensive NFL coverage in Latin America,” said Francisco Pazmiño, the senior VP of acquisition and content strategy for FOX Sports Latin America. “We are proud to retain our position as the home of the most live NFL games each week in the region. With this deal, FOX Sports and the NFL extend an ongoing strategic global relationship.”
