Colombian Soccer Series to Kick Off in the U.S.

BOGOTÁ: Football Dreams, A World of Passion, produced by Caracol Television and distributed by Caracol TV Internacional, is premiering today on Unimas in the U.S., marking its first international release.

Football Dreams, A World of Passion follows the lives of Carlos "el Pibe" Valderrama, Faustino Asprilla, René Higuita and Freddy Rincón, players of the Colombian national football team in the 1990s. The production stars Ómar Murillo, John Álex Castillo, Édgar Vittorino and Antonio Jiménez. It is slated to air every Monday through Thursday at 9 p.m. on Unimas, a Spanish-language network in North America that is owned by Univision.
