Ana, a comedy series produced by ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS), a division of ViacomCBS, has been renewed for seasons two and three.

The series is created, executive produced and written by Ana de la Reguera, who also stars in the show about her life. Ana will premiere exclusively on Pantaya in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and Amazon Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

In the second season, Ana will try to keep her sanity and continue to deal with her mother, who now lives with her in Los Angeles, while starring in a TV series reminiscent of bad ’90s sitcoms. The third season will see Ana attempt to rebuild her life and regain her credibility as an actress.

Mario Almeida, Pantaya’s head of content, said: “Ana de le Reguera is a force of nature, and seasons two and three of her eponymous series demonstrate a creative voice in full bloom. We are proud to be working with her and some of today’s sharpest writers, as well as the great partners in Amazon Prime Video and VIS, to bring this to Pantaya’s subscribers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico in addition to Ana’s fans around the world.”

de la Reguera commented: “I am really happy to continue sharing this story and that the audience has received it as we expected. The next two seasons will be a lot of fun! Thanks to ViacomCBS, Amazon Prime Video and Pantaya for all the trust since the beginning of this project. They have allowed me to grow a lot as a creator, and I will be infinitely grateful to them.”

Federico Cuervo, senior VP and head of VIS Americas, said: “We are very pleased to confirm new seasons for the hit series Ana. Ana is a perfect example of our studio’s commitment to creating quality stories and partnering with the best creatives in the industry.”
