Caracol’s The Girl Arrives in the U.S.

Caracol Television’s The Girl has landed a slot on U.S. Spanish-language broadcaster UniMás in prime time.

Distributed by Caracol Internacional, the series is based on real-life facts about the journey of a young girl forcibly recruited by the guerrilla who experiences firsthand the horrors of war. After she decides to leave the armed group, she begins to reintegrate herself into society and must face her family and herself.

The Girl is produced by CMO Producciones. Among the cast are Ana Maria Estupiñán and Sebastian Eslava as main characters, along with Diego Vasquez, Cony Camelo and Marcela Benjumea.
