Caracol TV International Presents DISCOP Istanbul Lineup

BOGOTÁ: Colombia’s Caracol TV International has revealed some of the programming highlights it will be presenting at this year’s DISCOP Istanbul.

The shows include The Voice of Freedom, about a woman who seeks to escape the patriarchal society of the ’50s through popular music. The program was produced by CMO Producciones for Caracol TV.

In The Sweetest Love, four generations of women fall in love with the wrong men.

The Mother in Law, a co-production between Caracol TV and Sony Pictures, follows a woman living in the U.S. who is forced to reshape her life and return to her country after an unfortunate experience.

The Dark Widow is a drama series based on the life of Griselda Blanco, the so-called Queen of Cocaine who built a drug empire through violent means. That show is a production of RTI Television for Caracol TV and Televisa.

Football Dreams reviews the troubled lives of four iconic players from the Colombian national team of the ’90s, while The Dance Floor is an original Caracol TV format where groups of dancers make the audience dance to well-known choreography.
