Canela Media Appoints Chief Strategy Officer

Canela Media has appointed Chechu Lasheras as its new chief strategy officer to spearhead its corporate strategy, emphasize growth and ensure continued business success.

Lasheras joins from Miami Dade College, where he served as executive director. His vision and leadership helped establish the college as a hub for cutting-edge technologies, fostering innovation and driving educational advancement. He has been serving as an advisor to Canela Media since its inception.

Prior to that, Lasheras was chief digital revenue officer at Grupo Prisa, where he played an instrumental role in developing innovative monetization strategies, leading business development initiatives and driving revenue growth.

During a tenure in Spain, Lasheras served as the president of IAB, the Interactive Advertising Bureau, a globe trade association.
