Bulgaria’s Eurocom Picks Up Brazilian Soccer Programming

SÃO PAULO: Globo has licensed matches from the São Paulo State League, the Brazilian League and some of the network’s sports programs to Bulgarian channel Eurocom National Cable Television.

The partnership allows the Eastern European channel to air matches between popular Brazilian soccer teams. It will also broadcast two of Globo’s soccer-themed shows, Footbrazil Magazine and Footbrazil Highlights, which include interviews, analysis of the teams, overall rankings and results of the games.

The league matches and sports shows are also programming highlights that Globo will be taking to Sportel Asia in Shanghai next month, along with the Rio de Janeiro State League, the newest item in its portfolio.
