Boy and the World Panel Slated for RioContentMarket

RIO DE JANEIRO: A number of professionals will speak about the production and distribution of the Oscar-nominated Boy and the World during a panel at this year’s RioContentMarket, which will be attended by the film’s crew.

Boy and the World is nominated for Best Animated Feature at this year’s Academy Awards. Members of the Filme de Papel, the movie’s production company, and Elo Company, its distributor, will discuss all the steps of the film and the artistic strategy that led to its success outside of Brazil.

Boy and the World is directed by Alê Abreu. The award-winning non-dialogue film is about a young Cuca who decides to leave the countryside in search of his father in the big city.

The sixth edition of RioContentMarket will take place at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from March 9 to 11.
