Azteca Drama Finds Success in Chile

MEXICO CITY: Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres (What Women Keep in Silence), a drama series from Azteca, is proving to be a success on Chilevision in Chile.

Since its premiere on the network, Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres, which is adapted and produced for viewers in Chile, has earned an average of 9.3 rating points and a market share of 19.4 percent. The show was originally created by Elisa Salinas and first aired on Azteca 13 in Mexico. It currently broadcasts on Chilevision every weekday at 5:15 p.m.

Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres focuses on a range of challenges faced by women, such as anorexia, alcoholism, rape, suicide and infertility, among others. The title has been picked up by more than 120 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Poland and Israel.
