New Reality Show, Beefed-Up Soccer Coverage Coming to mun2

NEW YORK: A new reality show featuring singer Gloria Trevi and expanded soccer coverage are some of the programming highlights unveiled by Latino network mun2 at is Upfront presentation.

The Trevi show, which remains an untitled project, will delve into the international performer’s world and family life as she readies to launch a U.S. tour. Cinemat will produce the series.

Soccer programming is set to include 100 matches of the Barclays Premiere League, along with coverage of the Men’s Under 20 World Cup from New Zealand, the Women’s World Cup from Canada, the Men’s Under 17 World Cup in Chile and the Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal. Additional sports broadcasts will include the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series and the 2016 Olympics in partnership with NBC Sports and Deportes Telemundo.

Finally, on the scripted side, the channel will debut Maria Entre Todos los Muertos, a drama that follows a young woman who awakens after a disastrous wedding day to discover that a zombie plague has overtaken the land.

In addition to our new, scripted series and the soon-to-be-talked-about Hispanic celebrity reality series featuring Gloria Trevi, starting in 2015, mun2 will have some of the most-watched sporting events in the world.”
