Unifrance TV Export Awards Winners Announced

The winners of the 19th Unifrance TV Export Awards, recognizing the French television programs that have achieved the most sales internationally, have been unveiled across animation, documentary and fiction.

The Unifrance TV Export Award for Animation went to Xilam Animation for Where’s Chicky? season two. Also nominated were Anna & Friends from Superights and Hello Kitty: Super Style! from Kids First Distribution.

The Unifrance TV Export Award for Documentary was presented to CALT Distribution for Legacy. Further nominees were Vikings: The Lost Kingdom from ZED and Wagner, Putin’s Shadow Army from Newen Connect.

The Unifrance TV Export Awards for Fiction was won by Newen Connect for Women at War. The nominees in the category also included About Sasha from France tv distribution and The Rope from Wild Bunch TV.

Nominated programs are determined by the program’s sales per hour of program time over an 18-month period. For this edition, revenues take into account sales and presales, all rights and territories, signed by the applicant between April 1, 2021, and September 30, 2022.
