Leona Connell Joins Newen Connect

Leona Connell, an industry veteran who has held roles at Parthenon Entertainment, Sky Vision and NBCUniversal, has been named executive VP of distribution for Newen Connect.

In the new role, Connell will lead the fiction and nonfiction sales team in France and internationally and will support all producers to enhance their financial plans and develop co-production partnerships and presales. She will be based between London and Paris.

Most recently, Connell has been serving as senior VP of sales at NBCUniversal.
