2022 UniFrance TV Export Awards Nominees Revealed

UniFrance has unveiled the nine nominees for the 18th TV Export Awards, set to take place in person on February 8 in Paris.

The nominees for the Animation TV Export Award are Millimages for season one of Molang, produced by Millimages, Canal+, Piwi+ and Hayanori; Mediatoon Distribution for season one of The Garfield Show, produced by Dargaud Media; and Federation Entertainment for season one of The Ollie & Moon Show, produced by Cottonwood Media.

The Documentary Export Award nominees are ARTE Distribution for Mr. Jack and Dr. Nicholson, produced by Morgane Production and ARTE France; Mediawan Rights for Kubrick by Kubrick, produced by Temps Noir and Telemark; and ARTE Distribution for The True Story of King Tut’s Treasure, produced by Iliade Productions and ARTE France.

For the Fiction Export Award, nominees are Newen Connect for season one of High Intellectual Property, produced by Septembre Productions and Itinéraire Productions; France tv distribution for season three of Call My Agent!, produced by Mon Voisin Production and Mother Production; and Gaumont for season one of The Art of Crime, produced by Gaumont Télévision.

“We are delighted that our 2022 Awards ceremony is to be held in person once again, and that it is organized with PROCIREP,” said Hervé Michel, VP of UniFrance, and Sarah Hemar, deputy executive director of UniFrance in chrage of audiovisual and digital. “We will gather in the evening of February 8 at the Trianon in Paris—if the health crisis allows, of course—to celebrate both the professionalism of both our distribution companies and French TV production. Working together on the conception of programs and, within UniFrance, on their promotion, they enrich French TV content creation and extend its reach throughout the world.”
