NATPE Spotlight: JKN Global Media

JKN Global Media has a Nakee series as well as the movie Nakee 2 to offer buyers.

Like the series, Nakee 2 is set in the Don Mai Pah Village, where the Nakee goddess has enchanted a statue in her likeness. The film follows Sroy, a young girl who takes care of Nakee’s shrine. When villagers conclude the goddess is responsible for a recent crime spree, it’s Sroy they believe is acting as her psychic medium.

Another movie JKN has in its catalog is Khejdi, about a child who grows up confined at home for fear she’ll be snatched away because she’s transgender.

According to CEO Anne Jakrajutatip, the company is focusing its sales efforts on East Asian markets and is looking to the Middle East, Africa, the U.S. and LatAm as its next steps. “Our ultimate goal is to bring the pride of Thai excellence worldwide,” says Jakrajutatip.
