HITS Networks Secure New Maldives Deal

Rewind Networks has sealed a deal with Medianet in the Maldives for carriage of HITS and HITS Movies.

The two services arrive on the Maldives’ biggest pay-TV operator on September 6. “With an increase in demand for quality content and Rewind Networks’ programming offerings carefully tailored and curated to showcase the best of TV shows and movies from the ’60s to the early 2000s, the alliance works in both companies’ best interests,” said Sandie Lee, executive VP of Rewind Networks.

Zihuny Rasheed, content and product development executive at Medianet, added, “Subscribers today are more aware and discerning; they seek quality content that are tailor-made according to their liking, and we believe that Rewind Networks’ channels bring just that to the table.
