HITS NOW Expands to Indonesia

Rewind Networks has secured another carriage deal for its new general-entertainment service HITS NOW, with the channel set to launch in Indonesia with First Media.

First Media’s PT Link Net delivers broadband and cable TV services in Indonesia. With the deal with Rewind Networks, it adds HITS NOW to its lineup, delivering reality shows, dramas, comedies and more from the U.S. HITS NOW will be available in Indonesia beginning February 6. At launch, the channel will be available for free to all First Media’s cable TV and FirstMediaX subscribers until February 20.

Rewind Networks’ HITS and HITS MOVIES channels are currently available in 14 countries, reaching more than 24 million households. HITS NOW also arrives in Singapore this month via a deal with SingTel. The lineup includes Top Chef, Below Deck, American Idol, Survivor, Project Runway, Fire Country, Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and Celebrity Family Feud. The channel launches with coverage of the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.
