Samsung TV Plus says it now has more FAST channels than any other U.S. platform with a slate of nearly 700 available, including 100-plus that are exclusive to the service.
The FAST platform delivers a multi-genre slate across live sports, music, kids, Spanish-language, Korean content, films and TV shows, as well as local news coverage.
In 2024, Samsung TV Plus had 88 million monthly active users in the U.S., with engagement in Q1 of this year up by more than 30 percent. In addition to scaling its lineup of FAST channels, Samsung TV Plus has expanded its on-demand library, delivering a 177 percent year-on-year gain in hours viewed. Globally, Samsung TV Plus includes more than 3,500 channels across 30 countries.
“With Samsung TV Plus, we’ve transformed what streaming can be by offering premium, personalized entertainment at a scale no other FAST service can match,” said Salek Brodsky, senior VP and general manager at Samsung TV Plus. “This year, we’re deepening that commitment by delivering even more high-quality content, richer viewing experiences, and greater variety of programming to ensure audiences always have something exceptional to watch.”
Samsung TV Plus is touting its multi-demo reach for advertisers, particularly among the Gen-Z, millennial and 18-to-49 sets. “Samsung TV Plus’ robust content offering delivers even more opportunities for advertisers to reach their most desirable audiences by powering our AI-driven contextual offering,” said Michael Scott, VP and head of ad sales and operations for Samsung Ads. “With Samsung TV Plus, brands and agencies can connect with their most important audiences in relevant, brand-safe environments to yield deeper connections and measurable outcomes.”
