Mariska Hargitay to Receive Monte-Carlo’s Crystal Nymph Award

At the 58th Monte-Carlo Television Festival, Golden Globe- and Emmy Award-winning actress Mariska Hargitay will receive the Crystal Nymph Award, which will be presented by H.S.H. Prince Albert II as part of the opening ceremony on June 15.

The fiction jury panel, comprising acting and production talent, will be led by Anne Sweeney, board member of Netflix and winner of the Honorary Golden Nymph in 2012. The panel will include German scriptwriter, director and producer for UFA Fiction, Jörg Winger (Deutschland 83, SOKO Leipzig); actor and producer Jason Isaacs (Star Trek: Discovery, The OA, The Patriot, Harry Potter); Mexican actress Ana de la Reguera (Twin Peaks, Narcos, Goliath); actor, scriptwriter and producer Jimmy Jean-Louis (Heroes, Toussaint Louverture); and French actor Saïd Taghmaoui (Wonder Women, The Missing, Touch, Lost).

The news jury panel, which will be led by Sky News special correspondent Alex Crawford, includes Ulysse Gosset, international editorialist for BFM TV, and Susan Ormiston, senior correspondent for CBC News. Also joining the panel are José Antonio Guardiola, editor and producer for TVE; Theo Koll, head of ZDF’s Paris office; and director and producer Hyun-Mo Jung.

Following the opening ceremony on June 15, the festival will play host to the Global Premiere Opening Screening of Amazon Prime original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. Members of the public will have the opportunity to meet with the talent of Marvel Studios’ latest series Cloak & Dagger and the talent of The Bold Type, the Amazon series returning for a second season in June.

Further stars set to attend the festival include Pedro Alonso (La Casa de Papel), Neal McDonough (DC: Legends of Tomorrow), Justin Prentice (13 Reasons Why), Ioan Gruffudd (Harrow), Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead) and Darren Criss (American Crime Story: Versace).
