The purpose of the initiative is to bolster the relationships between Canada and Mexico and increase the creation of quality audiovisual content that’s appealing to audiences in both territories and around the globe.

The total amount of available funds will be C$1 million ($750,000), with a contribution of $C500,000 ($387,000) each from CMF and IMCINE to be distributed among the chosen projects, which will be announced by March 2019.
