The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) in South Africa have renewed their co-development incentive for TV projects from Canadian and South African producers for the third year in a row.

Eligible projects are television programs in the drama, documentary, children and youth genres involving producers who meet the criteria from both the CMF and the NFVF, an agency of the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture of the Republic of South Africa. The closing date for applications is January 24, 2020.

The total amount of funding available through the incentive is approximately C$120,000 or ZAR 1,800,000 ($105,000). Each funding organization will contribute half of the funds, with the total maximum contribution for each project funded through the incentive set at C$40,000 or ZAR 400,000 ($28,500).
