Unifrance TV Export Award Winners Revealed

The winners of the 21st Unifrance TV Export Awards have been revealed in animation, documentary and fiction.

Season three of Xilam Animation’s Zig & Sharko was recognized with the Unifrance TV Export Award for animation. Further nominees in the category were APC Kids for Jade Armor season one and MIAM! distribution for Brazen.

For documentary, the award went to France tv distribution for Eiffel Tower: Building the Impossible. Also nominated were Newen Connect for Russia: Indocrination of a Nation and ZED for D-Day: 100 Days for Freedom.

In drama, Newen Connect’s Cat’s Eyes scored the win. It beat out fellow nominees Banijay Rights for Marie-Antoinette season one and STUDIOCANAL for Of Money and Blood.

Nominated programs are determined by the program’s sales per hour of program time. The winners of each category of the Unifrance TV Export Awards were then determined by the vote of international buyers invited to the 2024 Unifrance Rendez-Vous.
