YouTube TV Expands into Ten New U.S. Markets

YouTube TV is now available in ten additional U.S. markets, delivering live sports, news and a raft of broadcast and cable networks.

The new markets for the platform include Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne and Charlotte. Subscribers in those areas can access live local feeds from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC on YouTube TV. The platform has also expanded into Dallas-Fort Worth, featuring live local feeds from CBS, FOX and NBC, plus on-demand prime-time programming from ABC.

YouTube TV rolled out in April in New York, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Philadelphia and Chicago. In addition to the main broadcast networks, it carries cable services such as AMC, BBC World News, BBC America, IFC, WE tv, Sundance Channel, Olympic Channel, Telemundo and Universo. The platform delivers almost 50 networks. A YouTube TV membership costs $35 a month.
