YouTube TV Now Available in Half of U.S. Homes

YouTube has launched its live TV service, YouTube TV, in 14 new U.S. markets, making it available to 50 percent of households in the country.

YouTube TV will soon expand into 17 additional markets in the coming weeks. The service launched in April in just five markets, before expanding to an additional ten shortly thereafter.

YouTube TV is also now measured and reported through Nielsen’s Digital in TV Ratings and contributes directly to C3/C7 currency. The service boasts nearly 50 networks, including live local feeds from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, plus cable networks like ESPN, AMC and FX, and local sports networks from NBC Sports in 13 markets, Fox Sports in 22 markets, and now NESN in Boston.
