U.S. Pay-TV Losses Slow

The largest pay-TV providers in the U.S. lost about 120,000 net video subs in Q3 of this year, drastically lower than the 945,000 customers lost in the third quarter of last year, according to Leichtman Research Group, thanks to gains at vMVPD services.

U.S. Streaming Spending Rises by 22 Percent

A new report from the cloud video platform Grabyo has found that U.S. video customers increased monthly spending on online streaming services by over $1 billion, an upswing of more than 22 percent, since lockdown began in the country in March.
