The Tourist Travels to Netflix in the U.S.

Two Brothers Pictures’ The Tourist, led by Jamie Dornan (Belfast, The Fall), will be moving from Max to Netflix in the U.S. in 2024.

Season one will become available on February 1, 2024, while season two will land on Netflix on February 29, marking its U.S. debut. The first season saw Dornan’s character wake up with no memory in the Australian outback, where he was forced to use few clues to discover his identity before the past caught up with him.

In the second season, Dornan’s character, now known as Elliot, and Helen, a detective played by Danielle Macdonald, travel to Ireland to find answers about Elliot’s identity. They also must face the dangerous consequences of his past actions.

The Tourist also stars Shalom Brune-Franklin and Greg Larsen. It was created and written by Harry and Jack Williams.

The first season was produced by Two Brothers Pictures for the BBC in association with Highview Productions, All3Media International, the South Australian Film Corporation, HBO Max, Stan and ZDF. The second was produced by Two Brothers for the BBC in association with Stan, ZDF, and All3Media International.

Season one’s executive producers were the Williams brothers and Christopher Aird for Two Brothers, Tommy Bulfin for the BBC and Chris Sweeney. Season two’s were the Williams brothers, Sarah Hammon and Daniel Walker for Two Brothers, Nawfal Faizullah for the BBC and Dornan.
