NBC & Verizon to Live-Stream Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

NEW YORK: NBCUniversal, Verizon and Macy’s have aligned to deliver viewers a first-of-its-kind content experience, featuring a 360-degree livestream of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This marks the first time the event will be available for at-home viewers beyond a linear broadcast. With five strategically placed 360-degree cameras along the parade route, audiences will be able to view the livestream from different angles, coupled with graphic pop-ups featuring fun facts about the parade.

The livestream will be synced with the start of the parade on November 24 at 9 a.m. on NBC. The content will be live on Verizon’s YouTube page.
