Globo’s Boogie Oogie Heads to Panama

SÃO PAULO: TVN in Panama has picked up the Globo telenovela Boogie Oogie for launch this October.

The series is set in 1970s Rio de Janeiro, with a love triangle playing out against the backdrop of the disco era. It netted some 17 million viewers in its Brazilian broadcast and has aired in Chile and Costa Rica. It will soon premiere in Canada.

A frequent Globo customer, TVN has previously aired Brazilian productions such as Trail of Lies and Doomed. Boogie Oogie is among Globo’s NATPE Budapest highlights.
