TV Latina Expands Lineup for L.A. Screenings Festival

The Walt Disney Company Latin America’s Fernando Barbosa, Telemundo Global Studios’ Karen Barroeta and Globo’s Angela Colla are the latest additions to the lineup of leading executives that will be part of TV Latina’s L.A. Screenings Festival, to be held between May 10 and 13.

Barbosa is the senior VP, general manager, media distributions and productions at The Walt Disney Company Latin America, while Barroeta is the executive VP for production and development at Telemundo Global Studios. Colla spearheads Globo’s distribution arm as international sales director.

Barbosa, Barroeta and Colla join the lineup of TV Latina’s L.A. Screenings Festival speakers previously announced: Daniel Écija, creator, showrunner, producer and founder of Good Mood; Federico Cuervo, senior VP and general director at VIS Americas; Dago García, VP of production and content at Caracol Televisión; Barbora Suster, director for Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights; María Lucía Hernández, international sales director at RCN Televisión; Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and sales and acquisitions director at Inter Medya; and Francisco Villanueva, COO at SOMOS Distribution. Also, Leonardo Padrón, the creator of Pálpito and José Ignacio Valenzuela, the creator of Netflix’s ¿Quién mató a Sara?
