Amazon Prime Video and Pantaya have greenlit two more seasons of the Spanish-language comedy El Juego de las Llaves (The Game of Keys).

The half-hour series is slated to return in 2020, launching exclusively on Prime Video in Mexico and more than 200 countries and territories around the world, as well as on Pantaya in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. El Juego de las Llave takes a comedic outlook on long-term monogamy, self-realization and desire. Season one followed four long-lasting couples who are friends and decided to swing and are then left to face the impact of their decisions on their relationships in the comedic aftermath.

Pantaya, a Lionsgate and Hemisphere Media Group joint venture, is a streaming destination for movies and series in Spanish, offering a wide selection of current and classic, commercial-free blockbusters and critically acclaimed titles from Latin America and the U.S.

“The first season of El Juego de las Llaves broke the mold by bringing the taboo topic of modern-day swinging into the social conversation, adding new depth and perspectives on how we approach relationships and commitment,” said James Farrell, VP of international originals at Amazon Studios. “Audiences are not going to want to miss the new seasons of the series as the story takes us even further into the world of ethical non-monogamy.”

Mario Almeida, VP of development, programming and acquisitions for Pantaya, said, “The success of season one of El Juego de las Llaves is a testament to the incredible talent of the actors, writers, and production team who brought these characters to life. We are proud to highlight Latinx stories that push the boundaries and resonate with viewers who crave bold and original storytelling. We know that audiences will enjoy the upcoming games!”
