Telemundo Launching VOD App with Samsung

MIAMI: Telemundo Internacional has teamed up with Samsung Electronics Latin America to launch a new VOD app for Samsung Smart TVs and mobile devices.

Developed by Tangerine Mobile, the app delivers on-demand viewing for the productions La Reina del Sur, Dame Chocolate, Decisiones and La Diosa Coronada. These shows can be accessed any time on an episode-by-episode basis through the VOD system.

Marcos Santana, the president of Telemundo Internacional, said, “In this way, we will offer users the opportunity to watch great stories with production value whenever and wherever they want.”

“We are really excited about this new agreement which marks another important step in Telemundo Internacional’s digital developments in the region, using its own brand and its new image,” added Luis Daniel Capriles, the VP of digital media for Telemundo Internacional.
