NBC Universo to Bring LatAm Music Festival to U.S. Viewers

MIAMI: NBC Universo has revealed the return of its exclusive, multiplatform telecast of Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2016, the largest and longest-running music festival in Latin America.

Viewers will be able to consume hours of exclusive live coverage and television specials on TVs, PCs, tablets/mobile devices and on demand. NBC Universo will begin its six-day live stream of the music festival on February 22 at 7:45 p.m. Fans will be able to stream all the live performances—which will include such artists as Marco Antonio Solis, Ricardo Montaner, Ana Torroja, Eros Ramazzotti, Alejandro Sanz, Pablo Alboran, Nicky Jam, Wisin, Javiera Mena and Don Omar—in real time on the NBC Universo website.

NBC Universo is also presenting the performances of Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2016 beginning on March 5 at 3 p.m. with an hour-long special featuring musical legend Alejandro Sanz. For the following two months, the channel will air a TV concert special with performances by some of today’s leading Latin artists every Saturday. Subscribers of NBC Universo on participating cable, satellite and telco services will be able to catch up on the concert specials for up to 30 days after their premiere with the NBC Universo Now mobile app and through VOD and TV Everywhere.
