Juan Ravell, series co-creator, said, “The biggest honor we have had with ‘Isla’ is when Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro complained that we called him fat and dumb, and suggested we change his voice. He will have to tune into season three to see if we took his advice and see how he does with special guests that include Pope Francis, and in our Game of Thrones parody.”

Jorge Granier, the CEO of GOTV, added, “Isla is a perfect example of the power of the Spanish-speaking audience, making it one of the most prolific audiences in the world. Isla was initially being launched without a marketing platform and the exponential growth of the series speaks to Juan and Oswaldo’s amazing vision while underscoring the value and power of the Spanish-speaking digital market.”
