INXS Miniseries Debuting Across Latin America

MIAMI: The OnDIRECTV channel is set to debut a four-part miniseries about Aussie band INXS later this month for its subscribers in Latin America, thanks to a deal with Shine International.

INXS: Never Tear Us Apart is due out September 22, with each hour-long episode being released on a weekly basis. The uncensored drama tells the story of the six young Australians and lifelong friends who became popular performers until the rock-and-roll lifestyle took its toll, culminating in the 1997 death of singer Michael Hutchence.

Shine International is distributing the series, which counted on the collaboration of surviving band members and those who knew them best.
