Globo Upfront Reveals New Novelas, Entertainment

SÂO PAULO: Globo has unveiled a host of new programming coming to the network, including the entertainment show Tá no Ar: a TV na TV.

Comedians Marcelo Adnet and Marcius Melhem were on hand to present the new entertainment series Tá no Ar: a TV na TV, while Fernanda Lima presented the new reality show SuperStar. Another new item on Globo's schedule, Segunda Dama, was introduced using special effects so that guests could see Heloisa Perissé presenting her characters, the twin sisters of the show.

New novelas joining the Globo schedule include 3R4ÇÃO BR4S1L, which shows how technology came to change peoples' lives and is also a powerful fuel for transforming the world. Meu Pedacinho de Chão is a new telenovela from Benedito Ruy Barbosa. It stars Geytsa Garcia and Tomás Sampaio. Also coming up is a new production of O Rebu.

In the way of series, Globo has lined up O Caçador, a crime drama that features Cauã Reymond, one of the protagonists of Brazil Avenue, playing a bounty hunter.

In the year of the World Cup, Globo is promising a strong committment to sports programming and an investment in technologies to show all the details of the sport. The network is launching Central da Copa, a show developed specifically for the championship in Brazil.

Returning to the Globo lineup are, among others, Caldeirão do Huck, Faustão Sunday Show, Estrelas, Altas Horas and Zorra Total.
