Former FIC Exec to Lead Endemol Brazil

LONDON/SÃO PAULO: Marcello Leão Braga, formerly the content director at FOX International Channels Brazil, has been named general manager at Endemol Brazil.

Leão Braga takes up the new role with immediate effect. He is based in the company's São Paulo offices, reporting to Martin Kweller, Endemol’s creative director and operations director for Latin America. His appointment comes after 19 years in the business, during which time he has held numerous roles in the Brazilian market, including posts at FOX, Hyundai and Mars.

Kweller commented: “Marcello is a highly skilled leader with extensive and wide ranging experience in the Brazilian market. He’s the ideal candidate to spearhead Endemol Brazil’s continued growth and I’m thrilled to have him on board.”

Leão Braga added: “Endemol Brazil continues to build on its success by tapping into Endemol’s creative network and global portfolio of entertainment content. I very much look forward to working with Martin and the brilliant team here to deliver the next phase of growth.”
