Gaston Pavlovich and his Mexico City-based production company, Fabrica de Cine, will develop and produce scripted series for both Spanish- and English-language audiences with Endemol Shine Boomdog.

Fabrica de Cine recently produced Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman starring Robert De Niro. It will work with Endemol Shine Boomdog, Endemol Shine North America’s Mexico-based studio, on scripted productions, beginning with the story of writer Antonieta Rivas Mercado in early 1900s Mexico.

“Gaston is one of the leading film producers in the world today and we are thrilled that he’s bringing his cinematic vision to join us in producing dramatic television series,” said Alejandro Rincon, CEO of Endemol Shine Boomdog.

“I’ve longed admired the position Endemol Shine Boomdog has earned in the world stage,” Pavlovich added. “Their passion [for] reaching the international viewer is remarkable, and one that coincides with my vision of taking the most powerful stories to as wide a global audience as possible. It is an honor to feel their confidence in me.”
