DIRECTV Adds Spanish-Language Cine Sony Television Channel

CULVER CITY: The Spanish-language U.S. cable network Cine Sony Television has secured a long-term distribution pact with DIRECTV.

Cine Sony Television specializes in Hollywood movies. As of today, the channel is included in DIRECTV's most popular Más packages.

“This comprehensive agreement between DIRECTV and Cine Sony Television significantly expands the network’s ability to deliver box-office hits to the rapidly growing Spanish-language U.S. television audience who is passionate about films, especially Hollywood blockbusters,” said Superna Kalle, the senior VP of networks at Sony Pictures Television and general manager of Cine Sony Television. “We are excited to introduce our premium entertainment experience—Hollywood Vive Aqui (Hollywood Lives Here) to DIRECTV’s Hispanic customers and to become their new favorite source for Hollywood hits in Spanish.”
