Debut Date Set for New Univision Singing Competition

MIAMI: Univision Network has slated a May 3 premiere date for its new singing competition series Here I Stand (Me Pongo de Pie), featuring musical parent-child duos.

The show will air Sunday nights for ten weeks. Through each episode, participants will face off singing traditional songs, along with modern hits. Galilea Motijo (Hoy, Va Por Ti) will emcee, with singers Ana Torroja, Cristian Castro and Espinoza Paz acting as judges.

Rubén and Santiago Galindo will produce the show. Televisa Deportes host Vanessa Huppenkothen will also participate.
