David Zaslav, José Bastón Patiño Added to Univision Board

NEW YORK: David Zaslav, the president and CEO of Discovery Communications, and José Bastón Patiño, the president of television and content at Grupo Televisa, have been elected to Univision Communications’ board of directors. 

Bastón Patiño has been in his role at Televisa since December 2008. He has also been a member of the Grupo Televisa board of directors since April 1999. Zaslav has served as president and CEO at Discovery since January 2007. He serves on the board of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, The Cable Center, Center for Communication, the Ad Council and Skills for America’s Future.
