Cisneros Studios Hires Exec Producer for New Variety Show Roxanna

MIAMI: Cisneros Studios, a Cisneros Media Company, has hired Argentinean actor, producer and director Hugo Devana to executive produce its new daily variety show Roxanna.

Devana will report directly to Juan Carlos Sosa, the executive VP of operations at Cisneros Studios. Hosted by Mexican entertainer Roxanna Castellanos, the show features a live studio audience and a mix of celebrity interviews, skits and segments with real people. It currently airs Mondays through Fridays on Venezuela’s Venevision network, and is set to debut in the U.S. on UniMás.

Most recently, Devana held the position of VP of production and content for Ony Productions U.S. He has also made internationally renowned productions in such countries as Spain, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the U.S.

“The integration of Hugo into the Cisneros Studios team is part of the strategy to strengthen and revitalize our production team; we are extremely delighted to count on a professional of Hugo’s caliber,” Sosa stated.
