The TV Latina Screenings Festival wraps today with several leading global content distributors highlighting a range of offerings, from thrillers, dramas and biopics to reality shows, musicals and comedies. 

At the TV Latina Screenings Festival, Barbora Suster, director of Latin America and Iberia at Eccho Rights, talked about the appeal of Turkish dramas, which after a decade, have consolidated on a wide range of platforms, not only in Latin America but around the world. 

In conversation with Elizabeth Bowen-Tombari, editor at TV Latina, Francisco Villanueva, VP and COO at SOMOS Distribution, highlighted the importance of the group’s original series developed by SOMOS Productions and the expansion and consolidation of its catalog.

During the TV Latina Screenings Festival, the director of international sales at RCN Televisión, María Lucía Hernández, spoke on the worldwide success of the new version of Coffee with Scent of a Woman, as well as the long-running success of Yo soy Betty, la fea.
