Anima Films to Debut Pope Francis Miniseries at MIPCOM

BUENOS AIRES: U.S. Hispanic network Telemundo is slated to air the miniseries Francis, the Jesuit this month, ahead of its international launch at MIPCOM from Anima Films.

Produced and distributed by Anima Films and based on the book The Jesuit, the four-episode series chronicles the life of the titular Argentinean pope. Telemundo will premiere the title in prime time on September 13.

Additionally, HISTORY has acquired the miniseries for Latin America. Anima Films will also highlight the 4K production in Cannes next month.
