AMC Networks International (AMCNI) – Latin America has expanded the reach of the flagship AMC channel in Brazil, where it will now be carried on NET and Claro TV.

Through the new agreement, AMCNI Latin America will add more than 6 million new subscribers, tripling AMC’s sub base in Brazil. NET and Claro TV customers can access AMC’s lineup of movies and original series—Fear the Walking Dead, Into the Badlands and The Son among them—starting tomorrow.

“This agreement emphasizes our commitment to the Brazilian market and our goal of bringing AMC’s acclaimed original series to Brazilian viewers,” commented Eduardo Zulueta, the president of AMC Networks International Iberia & Latin America. “AMC, our flagship channel, is a trendsetter in the Latin American pay television market and one of the fastest growing networks in the region.”

“The launch of AMC brings to our subscribers access to exclusive content and original productions that will be available on demand by the NOW APP, on different devices,” said Fernando Magalhães, the programming and content director of Claro Brasil. “The customers will be able to take their favorite shows to be watched anywhere, anytime of the day.”
