RTL Group delivered first-quarter revenues of €1.47 billion ($1.59 billion), a 3.4-percent decline from the same period last year, mainly due to lower ad revenues as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

RTL Group revenues for 2019 rose to €6.7 billion ($7.4 billion), delivering a profit for the year that was up by 10.1 percent to €864 million ($960 million).

Total revenues at RTL Group were up 7.2 percent in the first quarter to 1.5 billion euros ($1.7 billion), lifted by gains at Fremantle and in its digital activities.
