Channel 4 Orders More Extreme Cake Makers from Boomerang

Channel 4 in the U.K. has commissioned Twofour’s Boomerang to produce 60 half-hour episodes of Extreme Cake Makers for seasons three and four, as well as a pair of specials.

In addition, Cooking Channel signed an agreement with distributor Twofour Rights to broadcast the show’s sophomore run in the U.S.

Narrated by Rufus Hound, Extreme Cake Makers examines the craft of preparing confectionery masterpieces. The first season has sold into more than 60 territories.

Holly Hodges, who brokered the U.S. deal for Twofour Rights, stated: “Extreme Cake Makers combines extraordinary and compelling craftspeople with show-stopping creations that can be universally appreciated. With the additional scope for digital presence, this series is the perfect recipe for our international clients.”
