The U.K.’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport has issued the draft of a new Media Bill, which will see streamers being brought under Ofcom regulation and additional freedoms for broadcasters to help them compete with the global giants.

Maria Kyriacou, the president of ViacomCBS Networks UK and Australia, is to become the new chair of the Creative Diversity Network (CDN), which is leading efforts to increase diversity on and off screen within the U.K.’s TV industry.

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has appointed Maria Kyriacou, who is currently the president of international at ITV Studios, to head its pan-regional operations managed out of the U.K.

ITV Studios has unveiled a new structure focused around three key businesses: creative network, led by Mike Beale; global entertainment, under Maarten Meijs; and global distribution, run by Ruth Berry.

LONDON: Maria Kyriacou has been elevated to the newly created post of president of international at ITV Studios.
