Rakuten TV to Offer 150-Plus Free Movies

Rakuten TV is extending the free section of its catalog by offering more than 150 movies at no cost to audiences across Europe through its AVOD channel.

The addition of more free content is among the measures Rakuten TV is taking to offer viewers a personal in-home cinematic experience. Children will be able to discover films such as the animated titles Back to the Sea and Snowflake: The White Gorilla. For drama fans, the free section will include movies such as Ides of March, In the Name of the King, Knowing and Brooklyn’s Finest, and action content includes The Expatriate and Bangkok Dangerous.

Rakuten TV users can find documentaries about some of the world’s biggest sports personalities, including the official series of the football club FC Barcelona in Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona, Inside Kilian Jornet and MessiCirque. Plus, the documentary about the football legend Iniesta, Andrés Iniesta: The Unexpected Hero, is soon to be released for free on the platform.
