SPI’s Filmstream Rolls Out in 42 European Countries with Rakuten TV

Through a new partnership with Rakuten TV, SPI International’s ad-based digital movie service Filmstream has launched in 42 European countries.

Per the deal, viewers will be able to access the service for free through smart TV devices. Among the countries Filmstream will be available in via Rakuten TV are the U.K., Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden. Viewers will be able to watch Filmstream on the Rakuten smart TV app through Samsung and LG smart TV devices for free.
